FORWARD:
Jungle maestro Margaman beams aboard the Flex mothership with his debut single Forward!
A first class jungle roller with extra-terrestrial twist and shuffling beats. The introduction dashes out of the starting blocks with futuristic synthetic sounds, funky snares and a tight high hat ending in a vocal sample of an alien talking.
The first big drop comprises of the same funky snare and tight high hat - now with a deep rolling sub bass accompanied by subtle percussion punctuated with more extra-terrestrial sounds. At mid track an extra snare is added making the beat shuffle and the feet follow suit. Dancefloor and DJ friendly, funky from start to finish and concise.
SCREWBOAT:
Track two Screwboat, is the perfect antidote to the infectious Forward.
A slightly more technical feel to this track.
Still incorporating the classic Margaman rolling drum breaks, bass and usual sound effects but with an added crazy violin synth stab pattern that sets a moody yet funky vibe from start to finish. Like a cosmic spaceship race with intergalactic style and panache.
This single is very dancefloor and DJ friendly.
A scorching hot debut on Flex by one of the Jungle scenes hottest producers.
